ADNOC used its tenth Business Partners Forum, held on Wednesday during ADIPEC 2026, to connect more than AED60 billion in local manufacturing opportunities to its future procurement plans, Al Bayan reported.

The opportunities were first set out at the second edition of the Make it with ADNOC gathering, held recently. They cover more than 200 core products and a wide range of critical spare parts. Manufacturers, suppliers, strategic partners and industry leaders attended the forum. ADNOC said it was taking the programme a step further by tying those opportunities to its actual purchasing needs, according to the report.

The company said the aim is to give partners enough visibility on demand to make long-term investment decisions, expand production and build new industrial capacity inside the UAE.

Supplier Process Changes

ADNOC is also simplifying how suppliers do business with it. The report says it is improving supplier registration and qualification, automating requirements under its In-Country Value programme, and expanding its Local+ initiative to more than 100 UAE factories. Local+ connects those manufacturers with upcoming procurement and company projects.

The company said it is using data and AI to build a fuller picture of national industrial capacity and match it to future projects, in support of industrial planning and supply chain security.

Why It Matters

ADNOC is the largest single buyer in the UAE's industrial economy, and its procurement plans shape where manufacturers invest. Turning a headline figure into specific purchasing commitments is what suppliers need before they commit capital to new lines. The use of AI to map industrial capacity also shows ADNOC applying the technology beyond its oil and gas operations, to supply chain planning across the country.

The report did not give new contract awards or a timeline for when the procurement linked to the AED60 billion in opportunities will be issued.
