Mannesmann Energy, a UAE-owned engineering, procurement and construction contractor, said at ADIPEC 2026 that it has a new project with ADNOC to upgrade existing facilities and raise production capacity at the company's NEB CPP assets in Al Nouf, Rumaitha and Shanayel, according to the state news agency WAM.
The company said it intends to sign an agreement to carry out the project during the exhibition in Abu Dhabi. It also plans to sign two memorandums of understanding naming it the exclusive agent and representative in the UAE for JINGBO, which makes high-pressure oilfield hoses, and PETROTEX GROUP, a supplier of tubular products for oil and gas and offshore systems.
Chief executive Anas Al Juaidi told WAM that the ADNOC project is meant to deliver the required production capacity, improve asset integrity and operational flexibility, and support business continuity in line with ADNOC's strategic goals. WAM did not report the value of the project.
Under the two agency agreements, Mannesmann Energy would act as the local commercial front for both manufacturers, handling customer relationships, contracts and supply in the UAE market. Al Juaidi said the JINGBO products include high-pressure hoses used for well control during drilling, among them blowout preventer hoses and choke and kill lines. The PETROTEX GROUP range covers premium casing and production tubing, proprietary premium connections, conductor pipes and marine riser systems for onshore and offshore wells.
Ten Years of ADNOC Work
The company said its ADIPEC participation marks ten years of strategic partnership with ADNOC, from 2016 to 2026, during which ADNOC awarded it projects worth close to AED1 billion. Its past work for ADNOC group companies includes ten utility projects, a central leak detection system for ADNOC Gas Processing covering 26 pipelines with a combined length of nearly 3,000 kilometres, a sulphur pipeline project in Habshan, a main gas injection line relocation at the Asab field for ADNOC Onshore, and what it described as the region's first high-speed hydrogen refuelling station for vehicles, at Masdar City.
Al Juaidi said the company has more than 20 technology partnerships with international firms, including a renewable and clean energy memorandum with Bosch and work with Shuangliang on manufacturing alkaline electrolysers for hydrogen production.
He said meetings during the exhibition would cover next steps on the NEB CPP project with ADNOC, technology transfer and localisation with international manufacturers, new representation agreements and the registration of additional local suppliers.
The announcements fit a wider pattern at ADIPEC this year, where ADNOC's contractors and suppliers are positioning around in-country manufacturing and supply chain localisation as the group expands production capacity.
