Agthia Group, the Abu Dhabi-listed food and beverage company, said revenue for the first nine months of 2026 rose 9.6 per cent to AED 3.9 billion and net profit nearly tripled to AED 154.6 million, according to results published by the Emirates News Agency (WAM).
EBITDA for the nine months rose 36.7 per cent to AED 433.6 million, the company said.
Third Quarter
In the third quarter, group revenue rose 14.4 per cent year on year to AED 1.3 billion. That figure includes AED 104.7 million of one-off sales, and Agthia said underlying growth was 5.2 per cent. Quarterly EBITDA rose 39.0 per cent to AED 123.1 million. Net profit was AED 33.2 million, compared with AED 4.1 million a year earlier, when results were hit by impairment charges in the snacking business.
The company described the quarter as the next stage of a multi-year transformation, moving "from building strength to delivering returns." It said reported earnings improved, but underlying performance was still under pressure from costs.
Cash and Debt
Free cash flow for the nine months was AED 212.1 million, compared with an outflow in the same period last year. Net debt to EBITDA fell to 2.4 times from 2.9 times at the end of December 2025, and the company had AED 536.2 million in cash.
Chairman Khalifa Sultan Al Suwaidi said recent months had "put supply chains across the region under strain" and showed why resilient food companies matter. Managing director and chief executive Salmeen Alameri said the company was "taking decisive action to protect the business as input and logistics pressures intensify," and that Agthia was building innovation, data and digital capabilities that "will define how we compete."
Why It Matters
Agthia is one of the UAE's main food producers. Its comments on supply chains and costs show the pressure that the regional conflict and shipping disruption have put on food companies in the Gulf. The gap between reported growth of 14.4 per cent and underlying growth of 5.2 per cent in the quarter shows that one-off sales did much of the work. Investors will be watching whether cost-cutting and the company's digital investments can protect margins if input and logistics costs keep rising.
The results come during a busy earnings season for UAE-listed companies, and the Dubai market posted its biggest daily gain in seven months on Wednesday.
